3 of the mourners who inappropriately handled friend’s corpse in viral video reported dead

Three of the young men who stomped on their friend’s corpse at Asante Akyem Akutuase in the Ashanti area are no longer alive, it has been revealed.

Though it’s unclear if the deed caused their death directly, the people are positive the land’s gods have punished them.

Although the young men are not native to Akutuase, they travelled there for the purpose of burying a buddy whose father works there.

In an interview with Adom News, the local chief, Nana Kofi Bediako, attested to this.

He noted that in order to prevent another incident of this heinous nature, the Traditional Council has implemented disciplinary measures.

Both the young man who took the video and shared it on social media, as well as the deceased’s father, were fined.

According to Nana Bediako, this is done in order to purify their revered god, “Brosambour,” on July 17, 2024, during “Awukude3.”
