CONFED CUP: Competition prize money is cumulative- Dreams FC clarify

Dreams Football Club have clarified the financial outlay the club stands to benefit from competing in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Ghana’s sole representative remaining in the CAF competition is on the verge of progressing to the semifinal stage of the tournament.

Dreams FC beat Stade Malien 2-1 in Mali ahead of the second leg contest on Sunday, April 7 at the Baba Yara Stadium.

In a statement released by the club, the outfit stated the financial benefits it is line to enjoy for making such a deep run in the competition.

The release stated that the club will receive $400,000 for making it to the group phase and will gain an extra $150,000 for competing in the quarterfinals.

The Still Believe club is in the running to receive $200,000 to increase its financial outlay to $750,000 should it progress to the semifinal stage.

The club via the statement reiterated its call for fans to throng the Baba Yara Stadium and support the team “to victory”.
