Ghanaian politician, diplomat, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Samuel Aryeequaye has achieved a historic milestone, gaining significant recognition in the United States by appearing on a giant billboard in Times Square, New York.
This follows his prestigious appointment as the World Director General for One World Nexus United Nations.
A New York-based organisation called One World Nexus is committed to using diplomatic simulations to teach aspiring diplomats. It gives aspiring leaders and social entrepreneurs a forum for idea sharing and international charitable involvement. Aspiring diplomats can improve their critical thinking and lobbying abilities with the aid of these simulations.
Samuel Aryeequaye’s new position will involve managing all international gatherings and planning seminars for aspiring diplomats across the globe. These conferences provide practical instruction on how to represent a nation effectively in diplomatic settings such as the UN, giving attendees the chance to build their networks and engage with people from all around the world.
One World Nexus also prioritises youth empowerment through its partnerships with nonprofit organisations that are actively involved in global philanthropy. The organisation is dedicated to raising the next generation to be change agents in difficult settings, such as camps for refugees, places damaged by flooding, areas devastated by conflict, and communities affected by earthquakes.
The Global Youth Icon Award and the Global Excellence Award are two ways the group honours and acknowledges people who are doing very well in their communities. These esteemed honours honour young brains who have excelled academically and shown a dedication to community service, acting as role models and sources of inspiration for their fellow students.
