Newly appointed head coach of Nsoatreman Football Club, Yaw Preko, has described his appointment as something destined.
He said this during his official unveiling as Nsoatreman’s head coach following the departure of Maxwell Knonadu following the conclusion of the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season.
Under Konadu, Nsoatreman won the MTN FA Cup after recording a penalty shootout win over Bofoakwa Tano at the University of Ghana Stadium.
Yaw Preko has coached Accra Great Olympics and Accra Hearts of Oak SC prior to his appointment after a successful playing career that had him feature for the Black Stars. Following his appointment, Preko stated,
“Coming here was by destiny and looking at the kind of work Maxwell Konadu did here, we are under pressure to perform…that’s how big the team is and I promise you guys with my boys, we will do whatever it takes, where Maxwell left off, we will continue and take it to the next level.”
Nsoatreman finished fourth in the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season and will represent Ghana at the CAF Confederation Cup.
