GPL: Hearts of Oak sign former Great Olympics goalkeeper Benjamin Asare

The former Accra Great Olympics shot stopper joins city rivals Hearts of Oak following the conclusion of the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season.

Great Olympics got relegated from the top flight division after finishing 16^th in the 18 team league standings despite an impressive outing from Asare.

After a poor season that had the Phobia club finish 14^th, Hearts let goalkeepers Richard Attah, Richmond Ayi and Eric Ofori Antwi go.

Asare represents the latest activity by the Phobians in the offseason with the likes of Michael Awuah and Samuel Amofa already signed.

Hearts preseason activities continues on August 11 with a game scheduled against fellow Ghana League side Kpando Heart of Lions.
