This development is as a result of an emergency meeting held on Thursday June 20 between the union and concerned government bodies.

The National Labour Commission (NLC) has directed MELPWU to end the strike and return to the negotiation table with the Government.

The Bono Regional Chairman of the Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (GAMLS), Mark Dankwah. He said the NLC has set June 26, for a meeting to be held between the Ministries of Finance and Health and the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission.
