Ghanaian Gospel sensation, Joe Mettle has clarified that, his upcoming event at the Accra Sports Stadium is not for bragging rights but for the glory of God.
The award-winning Ghanaian gospel artiste, who is set to hold a spirit-filled event of praise and worship, dubbed Praise Reloaded 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium on June 30th, 2024 clarified this notion in an interview with Valerie Danso on GTV’s Breakfast Show on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
According to him, there have risen some conversations around his ability to fill the stadium and become the first and only Ghanaian Gospel Musician to achieve that feat. In a response to such conversations which he acknowledged has come to his notice, the “Bo no ni”, singer mentioned that, filling the stadium will be to the glory of God and not a bragging right as being speculated.
“The stadium will be fully packed with people and will be held not for the bragging rights but to in turn give all the Glory to God”,he said.
The event which is themed “Holy Spirit the Encounter” will feature several amazing gospel artists such as Nathaniel Bassey, Luigi Maclean, Sunmisola Agbebi, Ohemaa Mercy, Pastor Isaiah, MOG, Team Eternity and many others.
Being the first- ever non ticketed edition, he stated that, the gospel in its entirety carries the message of change, hope and salvation of which a lot is put in to please God. He also shared optimism of having the stadium fully packed with people. He added that, the central idea behind the event is also to present a petition before God for a safer general election in December.
“We are also trusting God to raise an altar of blessings as a petition towards the incoming elections and the next phase of Ghana’s growth and prosperity”, he said.
