The Melcom Group of companies under their “Strengthening our HealthCare Support System” has made a handsome donation of about Twenty-Five (25) Medical Fridges to some selected Health Institutions across the country as well an additional donation of furniture to the new pathology department of the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

Following the Reports by experts to the effect that there is a huge gap in health care facilitation between the urban and the rural communities of in Ghana and “even in a worst case scenario between the more endowed and the less endowed health centres within our urban environments whether north, south, east, west or central”, Melcom care has taken the opportunity to bridge that gap which requires a lot of re-thinking and prioritization of future investment plans.

And in line with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Director of Communications at Melcom Group, Godwin Avenorgbo in his brief remarks at the occasion the hand over the equipment the beneficiaries said, “it behoves on Corporate Ghana to identify areas of need in collaboration with our health experts to fill in the gaps with particular reference to basic yet necessary medical equipment to save time and effort and ensure speedy service delivery” as he recounted how the National Blood Service honoured the Melcom Group of Companies with the 2nd best award in recognition of its significant contribution to efforts by the health delivery institutions of Ghana to save the lives of patients.
